Banyu Pinaruh is one of Balinese culture procession which is held every six-month and it is executed one day after Saraswati day. This Procession is aim to clean the body and soul from bad influence.
This celebration conducted Hindu resident in Bali in particular at the morning time. According to Balinese belief, by taking a bath which is known as Banyu Pinaruh will be able to refresh the body and eliminate the sultry feeling from the routine activity.
In this good opportunity, on April 24th 2011, we had celebrated Banyu Pinaruh after attended Saraswati day ceremony at Ashram Lembah Bhayam one day before Banyu Pinaruh. We believe that Banyu Pinaruh will able to purify our self, so that the knowledge which are conferred on Saraswati day could have power and sanctity.
This procession is also useful for manage our life behavior which is related with material and non-material subject.
Besides self-purification, we also given a blessing from our Guru by using feacock feathers. This blessing is the symbol of prestige aura.
Everything we got by doing this activity not only for ourselves, but also for society and the knowledge that we got, should use for Dharma.
